Bankpediaa works because bankers can talk openly and help each other. These guidelines keep it that way.
Do
- Share real experience. Say what worked, what did not, and where you are coming from.
- Disagree with ideas, not people. Be patient with juniors and aspirants.
- Use the search and existing threads before asking again.
- Report posts that break these rules instead of arguing with them.
Never
- Customer or bank data: no customer names, account numbers, KYC documents, screenshots of internal systems or confidential circulars.
- Abuse: no harassment, threats, hate speech, caste, religious or gender-based attacks.
- Spam and selling: no promotions, referral links, paid groups, loan or insurance selling, or links outside YouTube, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.
- Misinformation: do not post fake circulars or rumours as facts. Say clearly when something is unconfirmed.
- Impersonation: do not pretend to be an officer, union leader, regulator or another member.
Unions and politics
Discussing service conditions, settlements and policy is welcome. Keep it factual and respectful; personal attacks on leaders or members are removed.
What happens if rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, the team may remove the post, mute the account (read-only), or deactivate it. Repeated or serious breaches, especially sharing customer data, lead to deactivation without warning.
